Both the author, as well as the main character live in the Tower of London (!). It was so interesting to learn that this is actually possible and what the life in a proper and famous castle is like. Knowing that the author also fell for a royal guard makes the book feel even more real. I loved it. It is very easy to read and the characters just take you in. Perfect summer / holiday book.
