DNF@ 10% I really didn’t like the audiobook narration and the writing style of this book. It leans toward stream of consciousness which I’m not a fan of. The wording might be appropriate for the protagonist but it wasn’t pleasant to read and rather prevented me from getting immersed in the story. Additionally the audiobook narrator tried to distinguish the different characters by accent but had the most bored way of reading I’ve heard to date. For anyone loving the supernatural investigator middle grade plot I would recommend picking up Lockwood & Co instead.

this is very much not for me. i dnf'ed it at 56-ish pages. it's about a 14 year old girl talking (like talking talking) to ghosts but only for money i think it's an art for itself writing books in the perspective of a 14 year old and getting the wording and the feeling of an actual teenager. but unfortunately it isn't something i like to read

This was a disappointment. By the title of the book, I envisioned something totally different. It almost has nothing to do with the Library itself. The story was kind of boring to me. Also there is a huge lack of background knowledge and history missing, so much I thought I missed a book before and this must have been the second book - it's not... you are left in the dark with the year it plays in and also what exactly happened to explain the strange circumstances in this book. Not my kind of story.
