Took me almost a month to finish this book. I don't know what exactly I expected. I've never read a book by this author before, and it's probably going to be my last. Nothing happened. There were around 400 pages and the characters did nothing. They talked. A lot. I'm glad this is over.

Das Buch hat sich für mich in eine Richtung entwickelt, die mir nicht so gut gefallen hat. Dennoch war das Buch spannend und jeder hatte ein Motiv. Das Ende hatte dann auch noch einen kleinen Plottwist, den ich auch so nicht kommen gesehen habe! Das Buch wechselt bei jedem Kapitel die Sichtweise. So versteht man, wie jeder im Haus mit Ben in Verbindung stand. Mir hat das Konzept gefallen mit einem Haus, wo jeder der Nachbarn ein Geheimnis hat und somit auch jeder ein Motiv für einen Mord hat. Ingesamt für mich 3/5 ⭐️ Es hat mich einfach nicht so sehr gepackt, wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Ich glaube aber auch, dass das Buch für viele schnell 4-5⭐️ verdient hätte. Also einfach mal ausprobieren, wenn es für dich spannend klingt! 🥰

I flew through this book. Literally such a breeze reading. The start felt a little slow and tedious when setting up the characters but once you get into the rhythm of the book it flows. The twist at the ending was completely unexpected and I guessed wrong about who died and who the killer was. All in all a great read my 3rd book from this writer and I am looking forward to many more. 8/10 would recommend. 3.5⭐️s for me

Sehr spannend und gefüllt mit vielen Plot Twists. Die Auflösung fand ich eeetwas weird, aber dafür sehr überraschend, womit man nicht gerechnet hat (ich zumindest nicht). Super ist auch, dass Paris hier nicht einfach romantisiert gezeichnet wird, sondern besonders auch die "dunklen" Seiten der Stadt. Auch in diesem Buch wird wieder die starke Kritik an Reichen deutlich - ebenfalls dafür alle Daumen hoch Lucy Foley!
