Det. Sawyer Key starts his new job at Savannah PD with a high profile murder of a racist, homophobic, and all around lovely radio show host - and yet the most intriguing part of his new position appears to be his new partner Royce Locke. I enjoyed the partnership and the fact that there was more than one case to solve. I am still on the fence about the immediate attraction Key felt towards his partner given that even after 2 years he is still mourning his late husband. I am looking forward to see their partnership/relationship development in the next book.
