Re-read
Dylan works for the devil. If the devil is a grumpy, abrasive, sarcastic lawyer squeezed into a gorgeous man. Everyone around them can see the tension and sparks flying between them - but will the guarded Gabe Foster put his walls down long enough to get his man? Saw this on a book-friend's re-read list, and my 4 stars underneath it. And as quite usual no clue what I thought about the book as I didn't leave a review. And there were a few things I really didn't enjoy. Gabe's crass manner in keeping Dylan away from him, the way sex was seemingly all there us between them, Fletcher and his cronies, my fave hated expression "more than air". I actually wanted to take stars off from this re-read but... Dylan. I love Dylan wholeheartedly. Dylan's family, including Jude. Henry. Morna. The devastating ache of a broken heart. The healing. The creation of a home, and life. So yea, back to 4 stars.
