2,5 stars It was okay. It's not gonna make the list of my favorite CoHo books, but that's alright. She did say this one would differ from her other works. For the most part, I liked it. Although to me, the characters remained somewhat one dimensional. And Asa went from general asshat to full on psycho in a heartbeat. Once I got into the story, I pretty much finished it within 2 days. Which I mainly attribute to CoHo's addictive style of writing. That said, what really got on my nerves was the whole "epilogue to the epilogue to the prologue to the epilogue". I'm aware it was written on Wattpad and understand her reasons for doing it, but that whole thing really rubbed me the wrong way. It felt like CoHo had to keep one-upping herself when it came to just how far Asa could possibly take his insane antics. The book's still gonna make its way into my shelf, because the cover art ist just way too fucking gorgeous.
