Well, this took a darker turn real fast. I liked this a lot more than Sea of Monsters. Percy starting to get so jealous was damn entertaining 🫢 I‘m excited to go into book 4.

Book 3 continues with Percy adventures!
What can I say - it’s Percy Jackson! It’s a really easy-going story with it’s exciting moments. New gods, heros, creatures and monsters are coming up and again I learned a bit more about Greek mythology but that’s old news lol. The third installment had some moments when I got really sad about the fate of certain characters, but there’s always hope of seeing them again. That’s what I really enjoy about the story! Although its target audience might be adolescent, it’s structured is still so well written. It starts something and picks up a couple books later with the plot to end the storyline. On the book 4 🤨
How did this series get from five stars to only two, I cannot explain. I found the plot immensely boring, eventhough the narrator did an excellent job! The writing felt different, too many platitudes, predictable plot developments and Percy seems to regress as a character. Instead of gaining more depth the side-characters also become more cardbord-ish. Let's hope the best for the fourth part.
3.75, not my fave of the series but still *chefs kiss*
Nothing but love for Percy and the crew - Rick Riordan is truly a master of his craft!
Special mentions :nico: If athena is the god of wisdom, then why didn't annabeth know better than to fall off a cliff (percy: I tried not to strangle nico for that one) Thalia: Wow. Apollo's hot Percy: He's the sun god Thalia:That's not what I meant.
Wow, just wow. Amazing. Loved the new characters we got introduced to.The deaths were tragic . Personally, I thought Zoës was way worse, but yk, just my opinion. Annabeth being iconic, tho. She literally held up the sky for so long in comparison to percy, who was already starting to fail after just minutes. Nicos reaction to his sisters death had me in tears tho ngl and the way percy stepped up to take the prophecy to shield nico. Absolutely adorable. And btw did we all read the same book? WDYM THALIA BETRAYED PERCY. that was a rational decision to make. She didn't just dump the prophecy on him.
I really liked this book! Its good as a stand alone too but much better when you have read the 2 before.
4.5 ⭐️ my favorite book so far!! We get to meet Nico and Apollo and Artemis and Bianca and Rachel, and I just love all of these characters. Especially because I know how Nico is going to grow as a character in the series. Oh and Blackjack!! He‘s so fun. And the humor of Apollo and Mr D ist just 100% (and yes, I have read the first three PJO books in less than 30 hours...)

This series just keeps getting better and better. This book specifically was so incredibly entertaining and also so heartbreakingly sad at the end i was almost crying… The scene where Percy met Aphrodite and said she reminded him of Annabeth had me giggling and kicking my feet, the slowburn is slowburning for sure! Can’t wait to continue this series if it stays as good as it is right now.
Thalia got really on my nerves sometimes....
3.75 Stars, not my fave from the series but still *chefs kiss*
might be my favorite part so far! I loved the new characters (even tho Grover js still my favorite) and the story was soooo good and thrilling!! can’t wait for the next parts!
Dam. Zoe has my heart. Best book in the series
--- Song • Running to the edge (Chloe Ament) --- ~Ayla
I started this book because I knew that it will go by fast and I will be able to read it in a day or two. A few days before, I felt that a reading slump got hold of me, which is not acceptable because I have holidays right now, so I wanted a quick read to get back into the flow of things; and this book definitely did the job! Again, I felt this book was Okay, but not outstanding, just like the first two ones. I think I would have enjoyed this book more a few years ago, but for now these are fun books to fly through and enjoy while reading, but that's it. I wasn't invested in the story, and although it took some really great turns, overall I wasn't too interested. I heard, however, that people like the lat two books the series the most, so I will definitely also read those. We will see how it goes! 3/5 stars
When Percy, Thalia, and Annabeth sneak in to Westover Hall boarding school to help Grover retrieve two half-bloods(hades, as their father) they encounter a deadly Manticore. Annabeth is thrown over a cliff, and the others barely survive with the help of Artemis and her Hunters. When Artemis goes on a dangerous mission, she orders her hunters, all immortal preteen girls, to take sanctuary at Camp Half-Blood. But when Artemis disappears and the Oracle makes a new prophecy, a combined group of Hunters and Half-bloods go on a quest to find and rescue Artemis before it's too late. But the prophecy predicts a grim future. Who will be lost in the land without rain? And who shall perish by a parent's hand?
4 stars because of the ending. I still haven't figured out as to how I was so reluctant in reading these. The storyline is fantastic, the world has depth also they are witty and well thought that even an adult reading it enjoys it so much. It was compact and thoroughly action packed with a new character introduction Tyson, whom I ADORE, from the moment he was introduced until the end. Especially when he meets Chiron and goes PONNNYYYY!! xD I was literally laughing until I fell down from my bed and my mum said oh okay now this is the new thing is it? (Yeah I still live with my mum, we do that in India) Also a special mention for Grover wearing a wedding dress, hahah who could have thought? I am taking away one star because I thought this instalment was more of a building plot as to what will happen further in the story. That's okay though makes the other books in the series much more intriguing for me.. looking forward for MORE.
I completely forgot- and now in not a state to write a review but yes would say - you think something for this plot but something exactly different happens. Thanks Rick - I needed you. :)
Gesamt: 3,5/5 Story: 3,5/5 Charaktere: 3,5/5
