I got this book as a present because I love cats, and as I already heard a lot about it, I was quite excited to read it myself. It's a nice book about a true story. The author gives a short overview on how he lost control over his life and started using drugs and living on the street. When he met Bob he was already on his way to recovery but without a plan or purpose. Taking over the responsibility for the cat helped him to want to change that. I liked that the author tried to reflect on himself, but often he still seemed to just see and tell the version of the story where he is the good guy and the others are just mean to him for no reason, sometimes I couldn't quite believe that. But it's not on me to judge if everything he tells is true or not, it doesn't matter anyway. His friendship with Bob is cute and they have a nice story, but the book didn't really touch or fascinate me. Bob for sure is a cute little fellow, but I'm not really curious to read more about these two.
