i did enjoy this! the style and translation were really good, and i liked the voice. however the whole middle part felt a bit repetitive at times; i believe you could have told the story in a few less pages and still have the same effect on the reader. it was a fun urban fantasy read though and i want to know what happens next! (but i hate that i know how it ends)

Mehr 3.5 Sterne als 3. Am Anfang fand ich es extrem anstrengend zu lesen. Entweder weil es für mich langweilig war, oder der Schreibstiel ausgesprochen ungewohnt für mich ist. Ich kann es nicht sagen. Letztlich ist es irgendwo zwischen Seite 50 und 100 spannend geworden. Und ich habe das Buch in wenigen „sittings“ in großen Sprüngen beendet. Es ist wirklich spannend, allerdings auch immer wieder brutal und erschreckend. Dementsprechend meiner Meinung nach nichts für junge Leser.
