I'm totally confused. it was some kind of funny but I do missed the charme, the symapthy. Sometimes I just missed the love Jane Austen wrote with. I know she (Miss Austen) was full of ironic and sarcasm but she was pure and simple in her way to discribe a person. She knew how to turn a situation in a different way. Both versions of Pride and Prejudice has such a silly Mrs Bennett and an horrible Mr Collins. I absolutly like the fact how everythings settled with Mr Collins - I think it was the wish of most of the readers that ,.... well never mind. But was the story really written by Jane Austen? was it really her idea??????? I read Northanger Abby and it had some gothic parts in it and Miss Austen read stories like that by herself. But for now it doesn't really matter because the book shouldn't just get a good review because of the author but of the story: imagine the P&P world just with many zombies in it. Mr Darcy and Elizabeth and all of the others are warriers?! well. it was funny on some parts. it has a good reading flair but something was missed. guess everybody has it's own opinion.

Ich liebe diese Auflage!!! Wer es mal etwas spannender und nicht so dröge von der Sprache haben möchte, sollte sich diese Version von Stolz und Vorurteil kaufen. Der Film ist auch super und ich schaue diese regelmäßig. Das Buch passt sehr gut zum Original und ist eine Empfehlung wert! ♡

Ich mag Parodien. Gute Parodien, die mich an Knigges "Ueber Friedrich Wilhelm den Liebreichen und meine Unterredung mit Ihm" (1788) erinnern. Sehr nah am original Text und die mit den gleichen Worten eine ganz andere Ebene ansprechen. Den Film zum Buch... Braucht man nicht unbedingt zu sehen, da hätte ich es auf meine tumblr Streifzüge bewenden lassen sollen. Aber gut, man kann nicht alles haben. Die beiden Schlussgags des Buches unbedingt auf der Zunge zergehen lassen.
