Wirklich nett es neben der Serie her zu lesen und man hat paar Kurzgeschichten neben bei
Okay, so, Blish worked with the original scripts? But the book was first published one year after the show premiered? Why didn't Blish or the editor check what had been changed before publishing this stories? Because, let's be honest, they're even more sexists than the show itself was. And not only that. They're lacking anything. There's no humour, no emotion, nothing of what made Trek enjoyable. In fact, the writing style is so outlandish, it's hard to find anything to connect to in this stories, hard to even follow them, even when one knows the episode by heart. Most of what happens is being left out, we mostly get direct speech. But no information on which emotion lies behind it, what happens in between,... Hell, there are even quite a few times when during the direct speech the person that's addressed changes - without any indication in the text. We only know so because we know the episodes and because suddenly a different person replies. This really is far from being an enjoyable writing style.
