I needed some time to get into it, because for me it felt at first like there were too many point of view characters. But once I got to know them, I wanted every point of view equally as much. There are even some scenes in which having all these and switching between them really added up and was used perfectly. I still was annoyed sometimes by the way the fox'es perspective is told. I think the story and characters were nicely advanced by some short but cute emotional moments. While I didn't care much about Tikat most of the time (I actually felt he was only a lovesick fool) I totally understand his actions, but it just wasn't as interesting to read about as the other characters stories.
