As a white European girl who knows about the injustice that happens all around the world due to race only from media and tv shows, this book helped me to understand more of the world other people live in. It shows how life is when you are born in a world where you have done nothing wrong, but people treat you like they know everything about you only from one look at your skin color. But no, this is about so much more. It is eye-opening for everyone who still has their eyes closed. This book shows that most people only need one chance in life to show who they really are, that everyone is a good person, that only the people and circumstances around us make us bad. So let’s make the world better, don’t judge people because of their appearances, judge them because of their actions.
