🌸 Rezension: "The Legacy" von Elle Kennedy 🌸 KURZ-REZI: Ein sehr süßer Abschluss der Reihe ✨ DAS HAT MIR GEFALLEN ❤️ Ich fand es schön zu sehen, was aus den verschiedenen Pärchen geworden ist und wie sich ihre Beziehungen entwickelt haben. Während die einen Hochzeit feiern, sind die anderen erst bei der Verlobung. Ich will gar nicht zu sehr ins Detail gehen, um nicht zu spoilern. Generell liest sich das Buch wie eine Sammlung aus extra Epilogen - für jedes Pairing eine Story. DAS FAND ICH NICHT SO GUT 😅 Bei manchen Stories fand ich das Drama irgendwie übertrieben oder forciert. Vor allem bei Hannah und Garrett sowie Dean und Allie. Das ist jetzt keine Kritik an dem Buch, aber jetzt muss ich unbedingt "The Graham Effect" lesen und hab es nicht da 😭 ZITAT ✨ "You make me feel everything."

Ein krönender Abschluss war es. Es war schön das jedes Pärchen seine eigenen Kapitel hatten. Da ich davor die Briar U Reihe gelesen hatte wurde ich dadurch nicht gespoilert. Auch hier hat es an spice nicht gemangelt.. auch das mit dieser Puppe fand ich richtig witzig Irgendwo ist es schade das es nun vorbei ist aber ich war von der Reihe echt angetan

Es war ein toller Abschluss der Reihe, da jedes Pärchen nochmal erwähnt wurde und man erfahren hat wie es mit der Clique im Erwachsenen alter weiter ging. Ich liebe den Schreibstil von Elle Kennedy einfach total und bin traurig das die Reihe jetzt vorbei ist, werde aber sehr bald mit dem Spin Off starten und bin darauf gespannt. Dennoch bricht es mir mein Herz Graham & Hannah ,DiLaurentis & Allie, Tucker & Sabrina, Logan & Grace gehen zu lassen 🩵

It was fine. Tbh I skipped Tucker and Sabrina because I really disliked their book and therefore wasn’t interested in their honeymoon. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed Logan and Grace because their book wasn’t really my favourite either. But the other two were great and I loved reading about them again. Even though I did not expect the problems. And I loved their group chats. I am so sad that this was actually the last Briar book. I will miss them. Edit: I AM SO EXCITED TAHT ELLE KENNEDY ANNOUNCED ANOTHER BRIAR SPIN OFF!

Ich kann gar nicht glauben, dass ich mich jetzt von dieser Reihe und (zum Teil) von den Charakteren, die ich so lieb gewonnen habe, verabschieden muss. Dafür habe ich dieses letzte Buch der Off Campus-Reihe aber total genossen und geliebt, dass wir erfahren wie es der Clique drei Jahre später geht. Die Geschichten waren super herzerwärmend und irgendwann kam ich aus dem Grinsen und feet kicking gar nicht mehr raus, trotzdem fand ich manche Handlungen der Protagonisten etwas charakteruntypisch, was sie in den ersten vier Teilen vielleicht nicht getan oder in Erwägung gezogen hätten. Ansonsten war es aber ein perfekter Read für Zwischendurch und ein noch perfekterer Abschluss der Geschichte von Hannah und Garrett, Grace und Logan, Allie und Dean und Sabrina und Tucker. Bin ehrlich ein wenig traurig, aber freu mich nochmal auf ein Wiedersehen mit ihnen in "The Graham Effect!" Falls ihr also die Off Campus-Reihe auch so gemocht habt, dann ist Band 5 definitiv ein Must-Read!

Das Buch hat mir wieder besonders gut gefallen. Vor allem all diese lustigen Szenen mit Alexander😂 die haben mich sehr oft zum Lachen gebracht. In Legacy bekommt man von jedem Pärchen Neues mit und es ist somit ein wundervoller Abschluss der Reihe. Ich fand die einzelnen Kapitel aus anderen Sichten abwechslungsreich und sehr unterhaltsam. Loved it!❤️

2.75 stars <3 i'm unsure about this book. i originally wanted to rate it 4 stars but then i read the reviews and realized that i kinda agree with the critique. i will be reviewing the stories on their own and then draw a conclusion of the whole book. the pact: i was a bit disappointed that logan & grace's story was the same as in the holiday book but with like 1.5 pages added. i loved the story tho. it was really cute, but really short in comparison to the other stories. we barely got to see anything of them. :( the proposal: i really liked reading about tucker & sabrina's wedding. but dean kinda annoyed me. before reading this book, dean & allie were my favorite couple from the series, but this story ruined them for me. actually, the whole book ruined all of the characters, at least a little bit. and maybe with the exception of logan & grace. this whole proposal-thing was so forced and i didn't like the fact that dean was so obsessed with getting married. it does not suit his character well. also, the whole conflict was just meh, and was solved so easily like??? they literally got in an argument about allie rejecting the proposal and they didn't make a big deal out of it for some reason. the honeymoon: this was probably the second-best story of them all. even tho it annoyed me that so many complications were happening on that honeymoon. the whole coconut thing?? i mean it was hilarious but also caught me off-guard. it also felt really forced with sabrina and tucker meeting this other couple and everything in their lives magically ties together and all problems are solved. didn't like. the legacy: probably one of the worst stories in this book. where is my "the deal" - garrett? i absolutely loved garrett in the first book, he was everything to me, but here he was just so grumpy and annoying. why, elle? :( i didn't want to be hurt like this. the ending was really cute tho. twins?? lovely. whole book: some of the reviews said that they were hoping for a cute group dinner or something like this and i absolutely agree. even though some of the aspects of these stories were really cute and i liked reading about the characters again, it overall felt really forced and rushed and ruined the characters for me. i couldn't even recognize some of them. they just seemed completely different from the og books. kinda sad rn bc i spent the last two weeks or so solely with these characters and got attached to them. i just wanted a good epilogue that made my heart melt or something. but that did not live up to the other books. :(

Die Story von Logan & Grace fand ich so lala, hat auch lang gebraucht, bis ich dort reinkam. Allie & Dean (still my favourites) fand ich super! Genau passend zu deren Storyline im Buch 😍 Tucker & Sabrina fand ich auch cool, weil es irgendwie witzig war (bspw. das mit der Qualle) aber auch ernst (Job-Angebote, etc.). Hannah & Garrett fand ich auch so lala, wobei ich es auch gut fand. Das lange hin & her hat mich ein wenig genervt, aber grundsätzlich auch eine passende Story. Insgesamt ein schönes Ende dieser Reihe 🥰

An dieser Fortsetzung konnte mich einfach alles überzeugen, ich habe die Charaktere natürlich wieder geliebt, aber auch die Handlungsstränge und das Gesamtkonzept! Eine tolle Idee, nicht nur zu jedem Pärchen eine Kurzgeschichte zu schreiben, sondern diese auch so miteinander zu verflechten, dass ich mich als Leserin nicht so gefühlt habe, als würde ich vier Kurzgeschichten lesen, sondern ein zusammengehöriges Buch aus vielen Perspektiven. Jede einzelne der Geschichten hatte so viel Charme und Witz, dass ich mich sofort wieder in die Charaktere und in den Schreibstil der Autorin verliebt habe und unbedingt mehr von ihr lesen muss! Ich konnte das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen, bin völlig in die Geschichte eingetaucht und habe mich beim Lesen einfach nur gut gefühlt. Es war so schön, zu lesen, wie es mit allen vier Pärchen nach dem Ende des letzten Bandes weiter ging, wie sie sich alle weiter entwickelt haben, wie ihre Liebe und Freundschaft aber genau so stark geblieben sind! Fazit: Ein mehr als würdiger Abschluss für eine meiner allerliebsten Buch-Reihen, von mir gibt es für Band 5 (und natürlich auch für die gesamte Reihe) eine Riesen-Leseempfehlung!
