Refreshingly unique

Who can say they lived like a monk from time to time since childhood and do not just meditate because it is hip? Jay works its way through many layers of being a monk which we already knew all by heart but never thought about. And exactly that is what he tries to convey. Be mindful. Be in service for others. Do not expect anything in return but be true to your nature, do and give what you are good at and enjoy and receive once others are ready. While i enjoy this perspective and even adopted some of it, the frequency of worshipping his past life has me concerned. He truly makes an effort to not induldge in his personal love to having been a monk but when the recitations of an unknown language are part of a meditation practice i dont feel like he's just passing on knowledge but imposing it. I honestly thought from time to time that i could catch a glance of his true personality, which to say is: being a social media slave, trying to escape to prove himself and returning to his original ways once back in new york of all places. (I am sure he tried everything to minimize this effect on the reader.)
