Ich fand diesen Teil genau so gut wie den ersten! freu mich schon sehr darauf, den Dritten lesen zu können! Anfangs war ich mir nicht sicher, wie ich den step sibling trope finden soll, aber schlussendlich hat’s mich nicht gestört! Der Spice war wieder gut geschrieben und das Ende fand ich auch ganz süß🤭

Holy Shit, this book was soooo good! 🫠 I have to say it’s not as good as “Praise” but it’s still an absolutely amazing book! We have a stepbrother X stepsister situation with an age gap, mental health rep and a lot of well written spice on top of the voyeur and exhibitionist kink (I’m not entirely sure if Mia is a exhibitionist but I think it’s really fitting for her fantasies and kinks) 🤭 I loved everything about this book except two small things: I would have liked Garrett's secret to be revealed a little earlier and that Mia would have found out from him personally. I know they still communicated with each other and I really enjoyed that but it would have been nice nevertheless. I also would have liked to get more information about Garretts mania/depression because we only got a couple information at the end of the book which was a bit sad! 😮‍💨 Nonetheless is this book a huge recommendation from me and 100% worth reading❗️

3.5-3.75 ★ idk how to feel about them being stepsiblings, i actually didn't mind it but i wouldn't have needed it to be mentioned on every other page. it became incredibly annoying after some time, i feel like they forced it to seem like a bigger problem than it actually was, i mean who tf cares ?

War leider nicht so gut wie der Teil 1. Hab leider nicht soviel über den Voyeure Kink erfahren. Ich wusste vorher nicht was mich erwartet, ich hatte es sofort gekauft weil ich den ersten Teil super fand. Deswegen war ich überrascht, dass es eine Stepsibling Story ist. It's sooo good. It's spicy as hell. The story is sex and sex is the story. And again Sara Cate writes an empowering female main character, who isn't ashamed to ask for what she wants. It's such a joy to read the book, to get along, get to know both sides of the story and still feel all the emotions. You feel what the characters feel even if you already know what's going on. Please read the content warning ⚠️ i was a little curious about the Big Sad part but i trusted Sara, that she will find a good way to handle the topic. And my trust has paid off. But please be aware! Your safety is important!

Ich meine, kann man mehr verlangen? Garrett und Mia sind Stiefgeschwister, zwischen ihnen liegen 13 Jahre. Garrett kämpft lange gegen die Anziehung an, bis er schließlich nachgibt... Jedoch zu Beginn nur körperlich. Ihr könnt euch gar nicht vorstellen, wie aufregend es war, diese Annäherungen mitzuverfolgen. Ein immer stärkers Feuer entfacht nach und nach und entwickelt sich dann zu einem Flächenbrand. 🔥🥵🫠🌶️ Garrett schwankt regelmäßig zwischen seinem brüderlichen Beschützerinstinkt und der Tatsache das sie ja nicht "wirklich" seine Schwester ist. Dies wird immer wieder auf einmalige und lustige Art und Weise dargestellt. Diese Achterbahn hat mich mehr als einmal zum schmunzeln gebracht. Doch all dem Feuer zum Trotz... Im Laufe erfahren wir mehr über seine Vergangenheit und an einer Stelle ist mir mein Herz in tausend Teile zersprungen. Ich konnte meine Tränen nicht mehr zurückhalten. Niemals hätte ich gedacht das mich dieses Buch dazu bringen würde. 😭 Alles in allem war es unglaublich spicy, aber es behandelt eben auch schwerere Themen. Und das auf eine Art und Weise, die sich natürlich und richtig anfühlt. Ich kann EYES ON ME gar nicht genug loben. Mia und Gerrett haben einfach mein Herz gestohlen... Und mich alle erdenklichen Emotionen durchleben lassen. When I read the snipped I got a little worried... Garret and his *stepsister* Mia. Yup, stepsister. I liked the first book and although I had my reasons (I don't like stepsiblings story's) I read the book. And behold: I was positively surprised. This was unexpectedly emotional and this had so much more depth than what I was expecting. It was also such a cool concept, loved everything about it. As it turns out Mia has been in love with Garrett since she knew what love was, and she’s always assumed he hates her but little did she know all he’s been doing is protecting her from seeing his darkness. Garrett is a broken man who has his many issues and it broke my heart to learn he’s been suffering in silence all these years, the only thing to calm the mania inside his head has been Mia. I loved the tension between the two, the push and pull and the chemistry was top notch. The steam was *chefs kiss*.

Wenn man denkt, der erste Band ist schon super spicy 🥵 ÄHHH NO, das war hierzu ein Witz. Hier ist wirklich viel, aber sehr guter spice enthalten. Ich fand’s trotzdem super unterhaltend! Age Gap and Stepbrother Romance and he is a Voyeur. 🤭 INTERESSANT war es auf jeden Fall. 🤭😆

The second story is about Garret and I was particularly looking forward to this book. I have to say, so far I've made the biggest connection with Garret, especially because his dark side is super interesting. The story is about his desire, a completely different one than Emersons‘. You want to find out more about it. The bickering between Garret and Mia at the beginning is such a bonus - Enemies to Lovers, but with a Kick. Very kinky, like the first one. The characters are once again great written. Garrets character development was SO incredible! I just love how every book is connected to the other and i can’t wait to read Drakes Story. The Spice 🌶️ - Level is around 4.3/5 - yeah THAT high. I also recommend this book to anyone who is curious about something new.

Nachdem ich so begeistert vom ersten Band der Reihe war, war für mich klar, dass ich diesen Teil direkt bei erscheinen lesen muss. Der Anfang war super vielversprechend, extrem heiß und genau mein Geschmack. Die Protagonisten waren super sympathisch die gesamte Zeit über. Allerdings verlief die Geschichte dann irgendwie doch in eine andere Richtung wie ich angenommen hatte. Was mir persönlich eben nicht so gefiel wie erhofft. Für den ein oder anderen mag das gar nicht stimmen, mir erging es so. Nichtsdestotrotz freu ich mich auch hier auf den dritten Band und bin gespannt was mich da erwartet.

I pretty much have the same feelings I also had when I read Praise, the first book in this companiom series. The book started off really strong, but the middle part and especially the third act break-up were predictable and just dragged too much. I didn't really connect with the characters, but it made me happy to see them happy at the end anyway. The plot was intriguing to me, but it could've been shortened a bit imo. Nevertheless, I am ready for pt. 3 now!
