Der Anfang des Buches war Mega spannend, über ihre Sichtkrankheiten zu erfahren und wie sie mit denen umgehen und ihr Geheimnis versuchen zu bewahren. Der Mittelteil hat sich etwas gezogen doch das Ende zieht einen wieder komplett rein, viele Emotionen und Herzschmerz die man für die beiden empfindet. Lilly nervt low key zwischendurch aber sonst AAAAAAAH

Ich war sehr gespannt dieses Buch zu lesen weil ich es sehr oft auf TikTok gesehen hab. Was ich ehrlich sagen muss, mich hat die Sucht die sie hatte manchmal echt geärgert weil sie sie ja nicht mal so stoppen wollte. Ich fande das Buch trotzdem gut und freue mich schon sehr auf die nächsten Bände.

Ich habe das Buch echt schnell durchgelesen aber irgendwie kann ich nicht genau sagen, was ich davon halte… Lily und Lo haben beide mit vielen Dingen zu kämpfen und haben so Routinen entwickelt, die sehr fragwürdig sind… Trotzdem interessiert es mich, wie die Geschichte der beiden und allen andern Charakteren weitergeht

I found this book hyped on Booktok for its deep emotions and spice. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I felt like something was missing here. After the first half, I even skipped some pages because I felt bored. I really liked the authors style of writing but the storyline didn’t fit my sense of taste.

Finally started with the addicted/calloway sisters series and I loved every second of the first & second book!! I love love love Lily & Lo and the stuff they went through was heartbreaking!! I loved meeting all the other Characters, Rose, Daisy but mainly Connor & Ryke!! Some stuff I seriously didn‘t see coming & I loved that. I‘m so excited to read the rest of the series soon!! Oh & I also cried while reading some scenes

What has probably drawn me most to this story is Lily‘s sex addiction. I think that‘s an very interesting topic, and I liked how I was introduced to the whole thing and Lily‘s journey of coping with it. Lo‘s alcohol addiction is probably a more common one, you read about more often. And still, I think it‘s portraited pretty well. Though it has to be said the agreement of these two is everything but healthy – so don‘t see these two as role models in this way. Lo also gives me this “It‘s always been you“ vibe, and let‘s say I love this. Actually I really love both of them together. They are so cute. The story unfolds rather slow, and focuses very much on the characters. You meet Rose, Connor (my fave😘), Ryke, Daisy, Lilys parents, Los father… There isn‘t a very intense plot or something like that, the focus is on Lily and Lo and how they‘re dealing with their lives, their attraction and their addiction, and I was surprised that this is enough to keep me interested (okay, maybe a little bit more plot would‘ve been nice, but actually I‘m not complaining) 4/5⭐️
