When the book blurb says "addictive dark, why-choose, captive romance" it does not lie! I was hooked from the start as I entered into the world of Alana and the Hawks. Needless to say, all my responsibilities went out the door The FMC: Alana finds herself in a situation she didn’t expect, but she doesn’t let that get her down- she has been through worse. I love how even though she was a strong FMC, she was still human and had relatable breaking points. The MMCs: Reid and JD also find themselves in a unique situation as they thought they knew what they were dealing with- but quickly realized that maybe they were wrong. Mav, well he is relentless and will never give up on her. He is on a war path and will take down anyone that gets in his way. These 3 men are all very different which makes for a fun read, but they have one thing in common- they are not the good guys. I love how Tracy lets you fall for pieces of them but then reminds you of who they truly are. This is not a book where bad good turns good- this is where the anti-heroes capture your heart the only way they know how. They just take it. I found myself with so many questions but trusted the process- then….holy cliffhanger! My heart swelled only to be stopped by that ending! Highly recommend!
