Belle muss so viel durch machen in diesen ersten 3 Monaten aber dann ändert sich alles als sie beschlossen hat zu Jackob zu gehen sie kommt wieder auf die Beine und macht immer waghalsigere Sachen um Edwards Stämme zu hören ich meiner Meinung nach fandet das etwas gestört aber sonst liebe ich alles an diesem Buch Ich gebe ihm eine 4,5 von 5 😃👍🥰

Bro it took me way to long to finish this book. Anyways this book is WAY better than the first. The first was so cringy, especially Bella and Edward. I just couldn't take it seriously. But I have to say that I kinda like the second book. It was still cringe as fuck but yeah. When I started the book I disliked Edward so much, and I was Team Jacob to like a 100%. When Bella was without Edward she was really congenial and relatable. It felt like I was reading her diary and she actually felt like a real human being to me and not like some random kind of fictional character. I love Jacob and I think if she didn't know Edward she would be happy and in love with Jacob. I was so confused about this whole werewolf thing that was going on because l just wanted Jacob and Isabella to be happy together. I'm still a little angry on Edward. I mean I know that he just wanted to protect her by leaving her and that he suffered the same as Bella but come on, are you kidding me?! She fucking got depressed because of him and he did exactly nothing but staying home. I hate the end. I hate that Edward just appeared, Bella risked her life for him and Jacob is there like: * I'm so fucking sorry for Jacob. He deserved something better. The whole time he loved her so much and did everything for her and then this mf comes around the corner and she just forgets all about Jacob. I mean yeah she said it all the time that she still loved him and everything but my egoistic self wants Jacob to be happv. Well I said lots of bad things about Edward now BECAUSE HE JUST MAKES ME SO FUCKING AGGRESSIVE but ofc he is probably nice and he makes Bella happy so uhm yes. I think in general you could have shortened the book a little. At least 100 pages were a little unnecessary. But I still enjoyed reading it! So if you liked the first book, try the second!

I loved parts of this book even more than the first one... the writing ist still good and fast to read - I really like her writing style. I cried and I smiled with Bella, it was very emotional - love it. Handlung: Bella und Edward sind ein glückliches Paar, obwohl Edward ein Vampir ist und ein Teil von ihm nach Bellas Blut lechzt. Alles funktioniert gut, bis sie sich auf ihrer Geburtstagsparty im Haus der Cullens in den Finger schneidet und sie von Jasper attackiert wird, woraufhin Edward ins Grübeln gerät, ob es für Bella in seiner Nähe sicher ist. Er kommt schließlich zu dem Entschluss, dass es das richtige für sie ist, wenn er Bella verlässt und keiner von den Vampiren zurück bleibt in der Stadt. Die Wochen und Monate vergehen in denen Bella dahin vegetiert und Edward, ihrer großen Liebe, nachtrauert, bis ihr Vater ihr androht sie weg zu schicken. Somit zwingt sie sich wieder ihre Freundschaften aufzubauen, besonders diejenige mit Jacob - und sie werden beste Freunde, wenn nicht sogar mehr… Meine Gedanken zum Buch: Zu Meyer Schreibstil muss ich nicht mehr viel sagen, die Verkaufszahlen sprechen für sich und für mich ist sie ein Phänomen, weil sie es schafft, trotz ihres leichten und lockeren Schreibweise, tiefe und viel Gefühl in ihre Story zu legen. Das zweite Buch hat mir fast genauso gut gefallen wie der erste Teil, obwohl es viele gibt die enttäuscht davon waren und es bemängeln, dass Edward nicht viel in der Story vorkommt. Aber für mich war es berührend und herzzerreißend genau das zu lesen –wie es für Bella ist, wenn er nicht da ist. Es gibt nicht immer ein ‚happily- ever after‘ und man muss dann versuchen wieder einen Weg aus seiner Depression heraus zu finden. Außerdem ist es manchmal auch einfach ‚schön‘ mal so richtig vor sich hinzu heulen und somit ein wenig Stress abzubauen… besonders wenn man sich dann auf ein schönes Ende mit einem tollen Ausgang freuen kann. (und dessen war ich mir bei Meyer sicher, weil sie genauso wie ich eine hoffnungslose Romantikerin ist) Cover: Schön und im gleichen eleganten Stil wie der erste Teil. Leider erkennt man durch das Cover noch nicht viel um was es in diesem Buch dann tatsächlich geht. Fazit: Ein würdiger zweiter Teil, der einem auf die Tränendrüsen drückt und das Herz schneller schlagen lässt. Voller Hoffnung, Angst und zu guter letzt… atemberaubender Liebe.

I thought that it might bother me not to have edward quite as present in the sequel of twilight but that allows to get to know Jacob better. way better than the movies. didn't quite like it as much as the first part but was also really excellent written and overall a nice story that explores the tragedy of the "breakup" of Bella and Edward.
