I liked the second part of the series, which is a prequel to More Than This, much more than the first book. You get more background on the characters and they're not as ridiculously jealous as Jake in the first volume. Nevertheless, I found the plot repeating itself in many places. And even though I knew - after the surprise in the first part of the series - that sexual descriptions were included, I always found them described the same way. All in all fast and easy to read - and I can smile about so much drama in just one circle of friends.

Ich kann es schwer in Worte fassen — zum einen eine sehr interessante Kurzgeschichtensammlung. Zum anderen sind die darin enthaltenden Themen nicht so ganz meins. Schreibstil erinnerte mich an Sally Rooney. (Fehlende Anführungszeichen) Sprache ist anspruchsvoll. Themen: variieren von Liebeskummer, Adoleszenz, Einsamkeit und Beziehungsdramen. Und dennoch kamen ziemlich häufig Erwachsene-Jugendliche Liebesbeziehungen vor und genau diese Geschichte waren absolut nicht meins.
