Ich habe mehr erwartet. Ich dachte es gibt krassen spice, aber dem ist gar nicht so. Die Rätsel find ich nun nicht herausragend gut und irgendwie bin ich auch nicht mit den Charakteren so warm geworden. Es gibt ein paar Plots die ich gut fand aber für 5 Sterne hat es leider nicht gereicht.

I devoured it in just three days. The tension between the characters Ophelia and Blackwell was intense and unlike anything I’ve read before. The scenes between them were soooo spicy but mostly because of the great writing and not because of the number of spicy scenes. The challenges they faced to win the game were thrilling and so creatively described that I felt like I was right there with them. The way the author paints the scenes is incredibly vivid, almost like watching a movie in my mind. I especially loved the emotional depth when Ophelia reunited with her sister Genevieve after the seventh challenge. The twists and turns in the second half of the book were mind-blowing, keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time. This book is definitely one of the best I’ve ever read, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Highly recommended!”

Um ehrlich zu sein hatte ich zu Beginn einige Probleme in das Buch reinzufinden. Ich weis nicht genau warum aber nach dem ich den Punkt (ca. nach 20%) überwindet habe, konnte ich das Buch verschlingen und hab es echt gemocht. ❤️📚 Danke für den Lese Spaß und für diese neue verrückte Fantasy Welt ⭐️

Ophelia sets out to find her sister, who appears to have joined the dangerous game Phantasma. Thus, Ophelia finds herself in the world of Phantasma, full of devils, demons, phantoms, and other immortal beings. Here, she must complete and survive nine levels to have one wish granted. And she must survive at least seven levels to have a chance to see her sister again. A dark, gothic setting with deadly games named after the seven deadly sins and a love story between a necromancer and a phantom with lots (!) of sex make this book a light and easy as well es even slightly thrilling read. Though the plot is a little bit shallow and the focus more on romance and sex it still was a fun read. The writing style was also really easy to follow, and you just fly through the book. Suitable for people who want to read a darker more explicit version of Caraval or other trial inspired books!
