This book had an interesting premise and I really enjoyed the first 100 pages or so. The atmosphere drew me in but the plot itself and the unlikable protagonist ended up in a disappointing read about the dangers of coddling your kids. The blog entries were unecessary and I found myself annoyed by the glorification of psychics. If it were a supernatural setting I wouldn't mind, but after hearing about the exploitation of desperate people looking for closure from fraudulant, money-hungry individuals - which is talked about a bit in this book but then contradicted by the "true" predictions - the story just left a bad taste in my mouth.
