“Women are supposed to be very calm generally: but women feel just as men feel; [...]. It is thoughtless to condemn them, or laugh at them, if they seek to do more or learn more than custom has pronounced necessary for their sex.” Never in my life would I have thought that one day I would find a classic I truly enjoyed. What can I say? I love Jane Eyre and I would consider it one of my favorite books now. I loved it. I cried. I laughed. Maybe the ending wasn't perfect... but I am still amazed. Jane is such a strong heroine, with in my opinion very progressive opinions on women and society. The writing style is amazing. The book offers many turns and I am still amazed by how much I loved this book <3
