I heard great things about the author, which made me ecstatic to receive a copy of the book for review.  I liked the idea of a forty (40) year old heroine, which is a rarity in the book world. The story introduces readers to Defiance Dayne, a broke and new divorcee.  However, her fortune would change when a total stranger bequeathed her a house. (If I could be so lucky.
