This had so much potential but it was all over the place and I wanted both mcs to jump off a building at some point. That being said, I liked the grovel. If there's one thing this writer can do it's writing good grovel scenes. Okay. Here are my thoughts Heroine: felt with her. Felt for her. She had every right to be upset but I hated how she caved in so easily and was constantly crying. That was really annoying. She shoild have told Jax immediately his friends were cheating but then again she was a kid so she's excused Hero: he was an idiot as a kid and ig I was her I wouldn't have been able to forgive him. I'm glad it took her long to forgive and accept him lol. Yes he was a kid back then but as her "bestfriend" he should have stood with her and believed her and if he really loved her like he claimed he wouldn't have been with Heather. I don't think he really loved her as a child. He took her for granted that's what he did and she would have been better off with miles. It would have been better if he had to watch her date someone for a long time. Just as revenge for what he did so he knows how it felt like for her. Though I liked the grovel this wasn't enough to save the book for me. The potential was there but not used properly.
