Whatever negative stuff people have to say about that…I do not. I devoured it! Loved every second of it! Might not have given it 5 stars, but doesn’t mean I absolutely loved it!! Love Levi and Astrid. Loved their banter…they way to got obsessed with each other. Both struggling with their past and family problems, but they got light to each others life’s. 🥹❤️ Levi‘s personality might not everyone’s cup of tea…he’s damn possessive and doesn’t want to take a no…someone got into my heart. 🤭❤️

Am Anfang war es etwas schwer für mich in das Buch hineinzukommen, aber bis kurz vor der Hälfte ist es deutlich spannender und die Charaktere sind mir sympathischer geworden. Es ist viel Familien Drama und obwohl ich den Plot zum Teil erahnen konnte, war ich trotzdem shook. Ich freue mich in das Universum von Rina Kent einzutauchen.

Ich hatte schon einiges über die Royal-Elite-Reihe gehört und dachte, ich gebe dem Ganzen mal eine Chance. Was soll ich sagen? Es hat mich von der ersten Seite an gefesselt. Die Dynamik zwischen Astrid und Levi ist intensiv und voller Spannung. Astrid, die eigentlich ein unauffälliges Leben an der Royal Elite School führt, gerät plötzlich ins Visier von Levi King, dem unangefochtenen Herrscher der Schule. Ihre Interaktionen sind ein ständiges Hin und Her zwischen Anziehung und Abstoßung, was die Seiten nur so dahinfliegen ließ.   Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass einige Szenen ziemlich “heftig” waren. Das Buch enthält Themen wie Mobbing und andere sensible Inhalte, die für manche Leser*innen triggernd sein könnten. Es ist definitiv kein leichtes und sollte mit Vorsicht gelesen werden. Trotzdem konnte ich das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen. Die Charakterentwicklung, insbesondere bei Levi, hat mich beeindruckt. Man bekommt einen Einblick in seine Beweggründe und warum er so handelt, wie er es tut. Das hat ihn für mich greifbarer und menschlicher gemacht.  Es ist intensiv, fesselnd und lässt einen so schnell nicht mehr los.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Buch 🙏🏼 Es war die richtige Entscheidung das Rina Kent Universum in der von ihr vorgeschlagenen Reihenfolge anfangen zu lesen Die Story zwischen Levi und Astrid war sehr interessant und hatte plot twists, mit denen ich nicht gerechnet habe. Ich habe auch nicht damit gerechnet, dass es manchmal (vor allem in einem Kapitel) so emotional war, dass ich ein bisschen weinen musste 🥲🙈

I really loved this book and I am actually really grateful that I read the Legacy of Gods Series before that because that made me love this Book even more. I already ahd like some sort of "connection" with them if you can call it that I just lowkey loved them from the start and nothing could really make me hate them I don't know if that was bad for my judgment but I don't really care as long as I enjoyed it. I liked the story and also the character developments I just loved it, it had me crying, laughing giggling kicking my feet it just was the whole package. But I don't wanna read Aiden's Book😭 I cant imagine that I'll really like it from the things I've heard about it. But also all of the other Books in the series I think I'll just skip to Ronans Book because I haven't heard as much shit about it and I think I'll like it the most from the ones I still have left. My prediction was that I'll like Cruel King the most out of the whole series and I do love it but I haven't read the others yet so I can't tell if It'll stay this way but I don't think so I don't know why it's just like that

Es war gut . Es war solide. Ich hatte die zweite Generation vor der ersten gelesen und habe mich gefreut mit Levi’s und Astrids Geschichte zu starten … dennoch war einiges etwas zu sehr „gewollt“ also es hat sich nicht natürlich angefühlt… Trotzdem waren sie am Ende natürlich sehr süß !

... mit ordentlich spice. Leider stößt es mich immer wieder in spicy Romance Books bei Teenagern auf, dass sie nicht wie Teenager agieren, vor allem eben in den spicy Scenen. Gerade noch unschuldig und "ungesehen", auf ein Mal nun genau das Gegenteil. Und nein - ich kann nicht darüber hinweg sehen. Die Hintergrund Story hat dafür alles wettgemacht und hatte Spannung, Twists und Überraschungen dabei. 3,5 🌟

eng. review. i approached the book with quite high expectations, because i already heard only good things about the author and the series in advance and saw a lot of tiktok’s abt it. while reading the book i could only be amazed again and again about the incredibly great writing style, it has something captivating in itself, which is why i had also finished the book in no time. it was a beautiful and amazing storyline, with great plottwists. dual pov; you could catch a look at astrids and at levi’s thoughts and feelings, which made my reading experience way more sweeter! levi is known as the ambitious, gorgeous and impressive football player, he complements himself totally well with astrid. i liked the two very much and it was pleasant to read about the two. it was mostly exciting and there were a lot of dreamlike scenes. i really liked the end of the two and all in one i can say that the book did not disappoint me and definitely met my previous expectations. my fav book quote; — 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐈, cruel king. »astrid once told me i was a dark night. it’s on dark nights that stars like her shine the brightest.«

Las cosas bellas tienen efectos positivos en las personas. La mayoría quiere capturar esos momentos y revivirlos una y otra vez. Yo no. Me pica quemarlos y destruir sus cenizas hasta que no quede nada. Libro altamente adictivo, me saco de un bloqueo (espero) y me lo debore. Aunque Levi es un cabron, me pareció básico, posesivo, celoso, un poco tirado a la violencia, capitán del equipo, ect. Pero es un cabron, tipo si tu chica te dice que te detengas porque no estás usando un fucking condon, te detienes joder. Y deja a tu a primo en paz, él no te ha hecho nada. Pero después de eso, no estuvo TAN mal. Admito que el "giro inesperado" me lo esperaba completamente. Le arrancaré la corona de la cabeza y lo llevaré hasta el borde. Tal vez entonces se dé cuenta de lo que se siente cuando te rompen el corazón y ves cómo se desangra.   Pero en serio es muy adictivo. Seguiré con el otro a ver que tal, pero comenzamos fuerte.

Wo soll ich bloß anfangen… Die Autorin schreibt so flüssig das du regelrecht durch die Seiten fliegst. Es ist konstant spannend und jedes ihrer Bücher beeinhaltet kurze Kapitel. Ich hatte die komplette Legacy of Gods Reihe von ihr, am Stück gelesen und bei der Royal Elite Reihe, wo “Cruel King” der 1. Teil von ist, wird es nicht anders sein. Denn Cruel King war phenomenal. Dieses Buch beinhaltet Bully Romance, College Setting und viele Plots mit traumatischen Hintergründen. Die Charaktere sind in jedem Buch anders, obwohl sie viele Gemeinsamkeiten mit sich tragen. Trotzdem schafft es die Autorin sie so zu formen, sodass jede Geschichte originell und perfekt ist. Ich habe Cruel King inneerhalb von 24h gelesen und wollte gar nicht mehr aufhören. Als ich zu mir sagte: “Nur noch dieses Kapitel”, saß ich eine Stunde später im noch da und habe gelesen. Das liegt daran weil am Ende von gefühlt jedem Kapitel ein kleiner Cliffhanger war, der dich daran hinderte das Buch wegzulegen. Auch zu den anderen Charakteren um denen es in den nächsten Teilen gibt, wurden schon kleine Schnipsel reingeworfen, die dich direkt dazu animieren die Reihe weiterzulesen. Also Respekt an die Autorin!!! Rina Kent schreibt soweit ich weiß nur Dark Romance, weshalb man aufjedenfall die Trigger (Mafia, Entführung, Sexuelle Belästigung, Gewalt, etc.) achten sollte. Jetzt habe ich mehr geschrieben als ich wollte, aber zu wenig, als wie das Buch verdient hätte. 5/5⭐️ Highly recommend! <3 Ich hoffe wirklich das ihre Reihen demnächst auf Deutsch übersetzt werden.

Genre: Dark New Adult Romance (auf englisch gelesen) 🌶️: 3/5 Tropes: enemies to lovers, forbidden love, sports (soccer), villainous hero -dual pov -ich mag die beiden ganz gerne -love story kam für mich recht plötzlich -Story an sich ist gut, aber bisschen vorhersehbar -Spice war gut -gutes Buch, aber nichts besonderes -freue mich aber schon auf Aidens Bücher 😊

I think I like (and maybeee even love) this book more than God of Malice. While Killian’s behavior, especially in the beginning, is clearly a lot over the line, Levi‘s isn‘t (not as much at least) – even though this is a bully romance and God of Malice isn‘t. I was indecisive if I should read the Royal Elite series, but in all honesty now I think I‘ll love it. But let‘s get back to Astrid and Levi. I think their story is a very intriguing one. I also liked that (once again like in God of Malice, that‘s the last comparison I promise) there is a side plotline, but in this case it is even more present, and has been able to hook me all the way. And not only do I think that the story is intriguing but so are the main characters, Astrid and Levi. Astrid is both, a rather calm and introspective protagonist, and a badass if the situation calls for it. I do like her a lot. And surprisingly I feel similar regarding Levi, his character development throughout the book is pretty well-done – they are kind of on the same ‘pretty awesome prota‘ level. Note regarding the rating: At first I wanted to give this 4.5⭐️, but I feel like the following books may be even better, so we will start with solid 4/5⭐️ 4/5⭐️ 3/5🌶️
