It’s three stars, but good three stars! I enjoyed this book for the most part. A feminist and sapphic turn on the vampire trope just felt like a breeze of fresh air. I am taking away two stars because the storytelling felt rushed at times and at more than one occasion I kinda felt like the story just dumped a shitload of info on me. But all in all I had a lot of fun and smiled a lot. My favourite quote has to be: “‘Who you’re into isn’t ever a factor.’ Rose squeezed my hand. ‘There isn’t a litmus test or a certain number of boxes you have to tick. How you feel and who you are is yours. It’s not for anyone else to decide or question.’”
