I found some of what Mike wrote helpful and insightful. It was refreshing to see him challenge himself and start a new life alongside his previous expectations and flaws. The writing is what makes this a three. Look, I don't expect perfection here, and I'm glad Mike wrote this book. My own novel in work deserves criticism. But let's face it - it got too sappy at times.
