This is so heartwarmingly sweet i am choking!
Having read the hawthorne triology not too long ago i was not overly enthusiastic going into this. But alas, the characters drive the story and not the puzzles and so it began to draw me in. I am a huge sucker for well written individuals and heatworming scenarios and so it was no surprise that i was crying through chapters in the end. The best part? Instead of giving me flashbacks of hawthorne it gave me ready player one memories which is such a great book that i will defend it to my death. This book is so approachable that it probably will land in my standard rec list. Basic fiction with a lovely plot.
