After Abriella's sister was sold to the fae, she thought life couldn't get any worse. But when she suddenly finds herself caught in a web of lies of her own making - loving two princes and trusting neither - things are not quite as clear as she once thought. As civil war wages in the Court of Darkness, Brie finds herself unable to choose a side. How can she know where she stands when she doesn't even know herself anymore? In this darkly romantic thrill ride, the more Faerie is torn apart from the inside, the clearer it becomes that prophecies don't lie and Brie has a role to play in the fate of this magical realm - whether she likes it or not.
Okay. Damn. I don’t even have anything to say at this point HAHAHA. This duology was SO good. This review has Spoilers‼️. I spend quite a lot time reading this book, to be precise, 9 days HAHAH (and that’s a longgg time for me😭). So yeah, this book review probably won’t be as long because I don’t remember many things anymore😭💔. So much has happened in this book, I don’t even know how to explain it all. It was just plot twist after plot twist. Basically it turns out that Abriella isn’t just a normal human or Fae but the Queen of the Throne of Shadows. Sometimes in this story, Sebastian pissed me off, especially when he couldn’t except that Brie didn’t want him anymore and wouldn’t let go of her and their Bond😭💀 but i found it sweet that he sacrificed himself to be mortal so Brie could be the Queen with Finn on her side. Finn and Brie had really great chemistry and many great scenes together. This book was generally so good, great angst, good fantasy, romance and fluff and a bit of smut and lots of tension😋. She killed king Mordeus and Queen Arya, what a badass💪. I don’t even know what else to say, the ending was beautiful and everyone got a happy ending🙏. Would definitely recommend this book !!
