Going into this book I have to admit I was not looking forward to Electra's point of view. Having read the other books and seen the perspectives of her sisters I thought I might not be able to relate to her as well as to some of the others. But I was totally wrong. Next to Pearl Sister this was probably my favourite out of the series! Electra is vulnerable and flawed in ways that feel very relatable. And the setting of Kenya in the past is interesting and fascinating. Both Electra and Cecily were a lot more likeable than I anticipated and I was sad when the book ended. Now I am patiently waiting for number 7.

Ein wunderbares Hörbuch! Ich finde es total cool wie die Bücher durch verschiedene Menschen vorgelesen werden. Und auch die verschiedene Personen werden deutlich mit geänderte Stimme gelesen. Eine Freude! Diese Geschichte hat mir bis jetzt am besten gefallen. Ich dachte durch die Geschichten der anderen Schwestern, daß Elektra eine verwöhnte Göre ist, und es ist schön zu lesen wie sie geworden ist wie sie ist. Cecily's Geschichte fand ich total cool, so anders als die anderen. Besser zu folgen irgendwie, besser vor zu stellen, schön geschrieben. Auch in der Zeit in dem sich die Geschichte abspielt. Ich bin ganz gespannt auf das letzte Buch in der Serie. Hoffentlich finden wir die 7. Schwester auch noch!
