sorry but abso-fucking-lutely not. they were the epitome of toxic not her saying „But not cheating. I can’t work through that.“ when she cheated on will herself. Like doesn’t matter if it is your soulmate, she didn’t even listen to jake when he was at a fucking low but is a cheater herself. Also jake saying „Nothing worse than a woman who smokes, if you ask me.“ when he smokes anywhere and everywhere?! He is trying to command her whole life and then in the end she only goes back to him because he proposed bc she thinks „I don’t think any guy would ever ask me.“ Yes maybe the are connected and we’re cute in the past but they don’t seem like they stay together. I read another book by Samantha which was one of my absolute favorites so let me clarify that it’s just my personal opinion on this book, not her as an author or meant to be hate.
