I absolutely love this novel. It's pretty sad, so if you are a person who easily breaks out in tears when reading, stock up on tissues before you start. But it also highlights the strength of friendship. What I particularly liked about this book is that the author jumps in time quite frequently. It's nothing new, but used in a a very powerful way to create empathy for all characters in the book.
