EXCUSE YOU MENDAX BUT I THINK I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU this whole book was like a mixture of acotar, the cruel prince and slight touches of emily wildes encyclopedia of faeries. and i absolutely loved it. especially the middle part where the trials occurred and callie and mendax got closer to each other. but the last 50 pages? they left me speechless. something between sobbing and throwing my ebook reader against the wall, because this caught me off guard. i expect 5-7 business days of recovering from this masterpiece, and i will pick up book 2 immediately because the end HAD ME GASPING. didn’t see that coming. this was a cliff hanger. probably the best i’ve ever read. now. do with that review what you want. i‘ll just start „what did you do?“ now and hope i wont be sobbing through the whole book.
