This kind of book isn't my usual genre, but I read it entirely and there were three or so really good plottwists, and although it had some extremely uncomfortable scenes it wasn't terrible. Solid 3 stars! TW: death, (dangerous) pregnancy, racism, and there's an LGTBQ+ character (and the book is set in them olden days, so sadly you can imagine how their inevitable involuntary outing goes), also smth like a mild stalker is in the story and it's pretty much a main plotline, I don't know how to phrase that TW better
