After a really slow first half with a lot of geographical describing (missed a map so much!) and some cliché characters (the former thief who stopped to save his little sister and the spoilt princess who feels caged) it gets more and more interesting in the second half. It holds my attention with thrilling twists, intrigues and an old mystery. Towards the end the story changed massively and sets a good premise for the upcoming 3 parts in this series. Really looking forward to it! If you are looking for a classic coming-of-age fantasy story with a good dash of specialty I totally recommend.
