Okayyy so… hm. Im not sure how to feel abt this book. On the one hand, it was kinda cute and sweet. But on the other hand, I expected so much more😞. I was so excited to read this book cause I haven’t read anything like this yet but sadly it wasn’t for me. It’s cute that Lincoln fell in love with Beth before even knowing how she looks etc. This story addresses the topic of growth and 'growing up' which is also good. But sadly this book is only going to get 3.5 stars from me. To be honest, I found it boring😭. I had Hope that something interesting would happen, but it didn’t🥲🥲. It was a slow-burn but for my taste TOO slow. Don’t get me wrong, I love slow-burn romances but like NOTHING rlly interesting happened in my opinion. The end was also kinda random, I’m happy that they got together but they could have had their sweet moments wayyy sooner if smth happened (for ex. Lincoln revealed himself sooner, Beth would’ve done something, Jennifer would’ve done something. I DONT KNOW). Like the story was sadly just so repetitive, Lincoln going to the band with Justin (his friend), playing D&D (i think it’s called that) on the weekends with his friends etc etc. Jennifer’s and Beth’s friendship was kind of chaotic lol. I also DIDNT get the jokes, the humor that the characters had wasn’t really my humor so I just didn’t get the movie or actor references and everything else at all 😭😭. I liked the concept of the emails but half of them were also kind of dull. Yeahh idk I saw on Goodreads that a lot of people gave it 5 stars and that’s completely okay but it just wasn’t for me and I wasn’t feeling it to give it more stars🥲.

3,5/5 I really liked the characters, the idea was cool and the E-mails between Beth and Jennifer were super witty and fun to read! But it took me a long time to get into this book, it felt sometimes a bit drawn out and too long... Then, the pace picked up, we meet Doris and learn more about Mitch and Chris and pregnancies and suddendly, there is this twist, like 20 pages before the end, and I almost started shouting. Like why?? (I won't spoiler anyone here, if you read the book you will know what I am talking about) I was so dissapointed, and then the end came, which was cute, and kinda predictable, but cute, and sadly it ended so soon. I just think that what Lincoln does on page 330-something was really unnecessary and yes, the end was still good, but I was quite mad at the author at that point. All being said, I did enjoy this book, but oh well, the ending could have been better.

4.5 / 5 stars!!! I'm still so happy! Seriously, this one's a book that makes you happy and giggly and laughing out loud and just love it so so much! Rainbow Rowell is such a talented writer and I already enjoyed Eleanor & Park, so I had kind of high expectations for this one ... and well, it definitely lived up to them! I instantly liked Lincoln because he's such a nice and cute guy. You'd want a boyfriend like him ... just because of what he told his ex-girfriend and then Beth - it was too cute! He's caring and listening closely and he's super smart and a good friend! Well, and obviously he's goodlooking too! ;) Beth & Jennifer's emails were HILARIOUS! I marked so many good scenes and quotes, it's amazing! They are both really funny and I enjoyed their conversations a lot! They talked about absolutely EVERYTHING and are such good friends! The stories they told each other were heartwarming (especially the ones where Beth meets Chris!) but also serious and sad. I get why Lincoln didn't want to stop reading them - they are both super interesting characters! It was really amazing to see the characters grow and live their own lifes ... especially Lincoln changed a lot and made me love him even more! The end was super cute and I couldn't wait for it to finally happen but I wished there would have been some more chapters - it was almost a little bit too rushed in the end. But still awesome! Everyone who loves Rainbow Rowell or wants to read a light, funny and lovely story HAS TO read Attachments! It's so worth it, believe me! :D

I couldn’t stand the characters for most of the novel. He was literally stalking her (later she started stalking him back). The two female main characters only ever talked about men or were busy talking sh*t about other people behind their backs. The two love interests only started to redeem themselves in the final few chapters which just doesn’t cut it for me. In the end, Emilie, a very minor side character became my favourite simply because she was nice.

2.5 stars I wasn't able to get into this book. The first 100 pages were awful for me because I had no intention of continuing - it was so boring and uninteresting. However, it got better after that. Beth and Jennifer were really loveable and I liked their part of the story. I am really happy that I finished it now (need to admit that I skipped a few chapters because MEH)

People always seem so impressed when you say that, as if you are a wizard coming home from Hogwarts, but there's no magic to a job like that. Most times, I feel a lot like Lincoln in "Attachments".   "Meanwhile, Lincoln O'Neill can't believe this is his job now- reading other people's e-mail. When he applied to be "internet security officer," he pictured himself building firewalls and crushing hackers- not writing up a report every time a sports reporter forwards a dirty joke. When Lincoln comes across Beth's and Jennifer's messages, he knows he should turn them in. But he can't help being entertained and captivated-by their stories."   Because even though people think you are a lot like Harry Potter, they just want you to fix their computers. Lincoln got his current job in an ad, that promised him the fun job of a magician, but he ended up reading others people's emails at night. I don't read other peoples eMails, but I can relate when it comes to a promise of Hogwarts, and then you end up in the cupboard under the stairs.   Which is probably why I love this book so much. I can't be objective, because there is too much of me in these pages.   "I don't know if I even believe in that anymore. The right guy. The perfect guy. The one. I've lost faith in "the"." "How do you feel about "a" and "an"?" "Indifferent." "So you're considering a life without articles?" "And true love."   And not just in Lincoln, but also in the girls writing the eMails that he reads. It's amazing how you fall for them just the way Lincoln does, how you get captivated and sucked into their lives from their eMails alone. At the end of "Attachments", all of the characters are people who are close to your heart and who you will never forget. Even Lincoln's mom, or his nerdy friends, or an unborn baby.   "I didn't know love could leave the lights on all the time. [] I thought it took more naps, or blinked. I didn't know it could just go on and on like this without falling off an edge. Like pi."   I am very much in love with this book. It's my first Rainbow Rowell read, but I will definitely pick up more books from her. And I would recommend the same to all my friends. As I have said to one of them before: Attachments is the sweetest book I have ever read.

That moment when you have a secret crush on someone and that someone has a secret crush on you and then you secretly know that she has a secret crush on you as well. MY FREAKING GOD, it's JUST HEAVEN! I LOVED THIS BOOK SO FREAKING MUCH, I LOVED EVERYTHING. FROM START TO END, EVERYTHING. I all so mushy and gushing over it, it is just fantastic. I am not going to talk about the synopsis because i think everyone knows about it already. So I am just going to talk about the feels this book gave me. The story is about a guy who works in IT department and has to read mails and send *GO AHEAD WITH CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD* All of the characters were so adorable and so cute and so nice. Yes, I do say even Christine and Chris were really cute. I mean on one hand I wanted Beth to be with Lincoln but then i didn't want Chris to go away as well, he was so nice and cute and warm, yeah what he did was wrong and kind of gave away an impression of a douche yet I still couldn't hate him. I think the only character i might have despised was Sam. Sam you self righteous B*TCH, HOW DARE YOU? THAT GUY LOVED YOU SO MUCH and you cheated on him and gave such a stupid excuse? Like are you even serious. God have mercy on you. How dare you come back, I was so happy when Lincoln threw away the number, I was like thank god he is an intelligent man after all. It was written in such a fantastic manner that I was almost guilty into peeping in Jennifer and Beth's life and also so excited to know about what Beth felt or Jennifer felt after and encounter with 'my cute guy' xD Not only that, I was matching my reactions to how Lincoln will react and how broken or how excited he will be after it all. Just read the damn book man! It is so freaking awesome.
