This is a beautiful book. I would have probably not read this if i didn’t buy this in a “book-a-date” thingy where u buy these books wrapped in paper off of a small sentence. It’s a beautiful love story. It’s told through the eyes of the man, which is not super usual in romcoms but i loved it. In the beginning, I didn’t realize he may have Aspergers or Autism but as you learn more about him, he took over my heart. Its like watching a kid grow up and fall in love. I felt so incredibly proud of him, for all the progress he made. I found this story beautifully written, it stung right through my heart. I loved it.

I briefly considered giving it two stars, because the book had a few moments that indicated potential but ultimately it didn't live up to the hype in any way. It's still unclear to me why it's so often described as a very funny book. I didn't even laugh once. The only reason I even bothered to finish (especially after finding out there was a sequel and thereby spoiling the ending) was because I simply couldn't not finish yet another book.
