Quite dystopian and not exactly what I expected. In the middle I was quite fed up with all the self destruction and the lack of introspection of the protagonist but the tiny glimpses of hope and healing further down the line made it worthwhile. Plus ever present oceans and lots of swimming in cold water, wich always helps
