I loved the premise of the book, I loved all the little stories and details of Clover's clients. I do feel the pace was slow and then some things were a little rushed at the end. Though I liked the direction of the character development, I also felt it was a little unrealistic - but not too bad and less development would have missed the message of the book. Altogether I agree with many other reviews that described Clover as somehow unlikeable, however I don't think that is a bad thing - people have flaws, especially people who have been through a lot and it is not uncommon for personality types like Clover to develop double standards or act childish. So even though she is by far not perfect and very often behaves strangely, I feel her. Cried a lot, especially in the beginning and at the end. Would recommend!
