Reading this book was a battle for me. The writing style is just not for me. A lot of fictional words and setting is thrown at you and is never explained. No idea if this is on purpose? A friend of mine really loves this book because of that. He says he can always read it again an find something new in it. I don't know. I really like books that are "complete", where I don't have to guess basic stuff. The story itself is interesting. Whatever is going on between Molly and Chase seems unnecessary to the story and the plot. Sex just for the sake of having sex in the book just feels cheap. It has no relevance for the plot or the setting or anything. What I really loved while reading this book was the feeling to recognize some of the terms and ideas from books and games that adapted the ideas of mister Gibson. It was great to see where these ideas originated from. But I would not read the book again.
