Spoilers This is the first of the three books covering the relationship between Arabella and Lucian. Lucian is 500 years old and if he doesn’t take a mate to fulfil a treaty he will die. The problem he already did take a mate but she died and now he can’t stand the thought of falling in love again. So now when Lucian rescues Arabella he tries to deny his feelings. Arabella is willing to fight for love and she won’t take no for an answer so what is a dragon prince supposed to do? I love this trilogy the denial the obvious attraction between them I couldn’t wait to devour all three books in-fact I hated waiting for the third to be released I wanted to read it so bad to find out what happened. Very addictive and the love scenes are deep and sensual a good romance book.
