If you're looking for a heroine with a backbone, avoid this book. This was one of the most pathetic heroines I've read. Totally felt for her when her even more pathetic lover announced he was sleeping with another girl and got her pregnant and wants to marry her. When I read she was ignoring him for 5 years I thought "wow maybe she won't be a doormat" but I was wrong. She's an idiot for taking him back. The hero is an even bigger idiot, if you ask me and I guess they're both so ridiculous that they deserve each other. Really don't see how she could forgive him what he has done. The ex and the kid Wil lalways be a reminder of his BS and don't get me started on her getting pregnant by him and then apologizing to him in the end.
