Gripping plot, beautiful writing, well developed characters. Everything I ever want from a psychological detective story. Really looking forward how the movie adaption will turn out. The story follows Louis, a boy in a coma. His treating doctor is the second first person narrator (Louis himself being the first) that leads us through the ninth life of Louis Drax, unraveling the disturbed things that happened in the boys past. With the growing number of characters the bits and pieces click slowly into place. The pace is great, given some spare time it's easy to read it in a single sitting. The writing is uncomlicated. Def. recommend it!
