Quite the interesting book. Opened my eyes on a lot of stuff and made me think. The last few parts where not as interesting as the actual coverage of historical events, nonetheless I found myself learning by what I read. While it is written from a US POV, and it's about their school system, social system, etc., I loved learning about it and could relate quite a few things to my own experiences in school and society outside the US. It also deepened my understanding of the US, and why I perceive it as I do. Personally, the general message of the book was not new to me (valueing POVs, opinions, context, etc. over historical facts and not taking stuff at face value just because it's written down somewhere). Loved reading more about it anyway, books that make you think, re-evaluate and open your eyes are the best. And that's exactly what this book managed to do for me :)
