I stopped reading at 13%. It is really hard to understand this book. The concept is not realistic. The people in charge in this world were forced by the government to kill a loved member of their family, but they still support the government that made them do that. One of the government people says "I haven't been brainwashed," but I am thinking that is the only explanation.
