This book was really really good. I literally read it in one sitting in 3 hours. It's really interesting and funny. At some point I literally smiled at the book because Phyton and Lex were so hilarious. The plot was really unexpected and was just a big surprise-I would have never thought about this ending in my entire life. I totally recommend it, this is just a great cozy book you can read on a chill Sunday in a few hours. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is the end. I definitely expected a little bit more and the epilogue was a bit confusing & too short. I mean it's good but I would have liked to hear more from all the other characters at the end. :)

Das Buch war sehr spannend und man wollte immer weiter lesen. Außerdem war der Schreibstil super! Man konnte sich in die Charaktere sehr gut hineinversetzen und hat immer anders über sie gedacht. Dazu war die Umgebung interessant beschrieben. Die ganze Zeit passierte etwas Spannendes und viele Sachen waren nicht vorhersehbar. Den Plottwist habe ich auch nicht kommen sehen. Das Buch war sehr vielseitig, da es gruselige, lustige aber auch romance parts gab. Das war das erste Buch, das ich von der Autorin gelesen habe, und ich werde auch auf jeden Fall andere Bücher von ihr lesen.

Ich bin sprachlos. Das Buch war wahnsinnig gut. Ich habe zwar nicht alles verstanden, da ich manche englische Wörter einfach nicht kannte, oder mir nicht vorstellen konnte was,wie und wo gerade etwas passiert (Bsp. Das Ende ich weiß nicht wie ich mir die "letzte" Höhle vorstellen soll). Manchmal hatte ich auch das Gefühl das einiges keinen Sinn macht. Aber trotzdem war das Buch einfach toll. Es war spannend,interessant, etwas lustig, aber auch etwas creepy. Hin und wieder war Lex mir etwas unsympathisch aber ich konnte sie am Ende doch besser leiden als am Anfang. Vieles in diesem Buch habe ich nicht kommen sehen, anderes konnte ich mir schon denken (aber auch nur durch kleine Anmerkungen von Lex oder anderen). Es ist aber auch einfach so viel passiert, was ich nicht kommen sehen habe. Was ich mir noch gewünscht hätte, wäre ein längeres Ende. Das erklärt wird, was nach Kapitel 48 passiert ist. Der Epilog hat meine offenen Fragen nämlich definitiv nicht geklärt. Es sind nur 4,5 Sterne da ich wie schon erwähnt einfach nicht alles verstanden habe. Ich kann das Buch definitiv weiterempfehlen !

In einer Reality Show mit 4 fremden Leuten scheint für einige schon Horror dazu. Fügt eine verfluchte Location und eine geheime Mörderin dazu und ihr habt das Konzept von dem Buch vor Augen. Lex, Abbie, Python (ja so heißt der eine wirklich, Liam und Marla machen aus den unterschiedlichensten Gründen bei einer Horror Reality Show mit und werden ohne ihr Wissen länger gefangen gehalten als eigentlich geplant. Ich muss sagen, teilweise konnte ich mir zwar denken was passieren wird aber das meiste war trotzdem noch schockierend. Ich wusste aber ganz lange nicht ob Lex ein Mädchen oder ein Junge ist, Spoiler: Mädchen. Ich hab eine Weile gebraucht um in das Buch reinzukommen aber es war trotzdem sehr spannend und definitiv zu empfehlen wenn man sich mal in eine Geister/Horror Geschichte verfangen will. Für ein bisschen Romantik wird auch gesorgt!

To be honest I only did that because people always say you should always finish a horror movie before sleeping so I felt compelled to do the same with this horror book. but let me tell you this wasn’t nearly as scary as I expected it to be, there was like one thing that was actually scary and the rest was okay I guess. I really enjoyed reading about the characters in this book and I really grew attached to them over a span of like 4 hours. One thing I will say is that this needs to be a movie asap. I thinking one of the main reasons as to why this wasn’t as scary for me was because I had imagining the scary dark caves in my head and I think if this was a movie the creepiness would come across a lot better. Otherwise this was a great quick read, nothing to breathtaking the writing wasn’t insane either but I still had a good time reading this. Also I think the plottwist was kind of meh I didn’t see it coming but I think the author could have done a lot more like include Laurie more into it (if you read the book you know what I mean , don’t wanna spoil) Lastly I want to say that I personally really liked the end and I don’t understand how people felt like this was a super open ending. In my opinion the epilogue resolved everything really well but maybe some people just didn’t understand it because for you to get that "reference“ at the end, one would have had to be paying very good attention which I (for once) did, I guess. I also just realised that I started the year by reading two books about ghosts even though they both couldn’t be any more different. "Hope isn’t always rational. But it keeps us going.“ "And sometimes we have to find our way through the darkness to reach the light." "All of this has made me realize maybe ghosts are real, after all. They're stories that have been told so many times, they've taken on a life of their own. They stay with you for ever, no matter where you go.“
