DNF @66% First of all, I want to thank the author for giving me a free copy of his book for an honest review. Here are my notes that I took in order to write a review, but to be honest, I’m too exhausted after reading this book.. I always feel bad when I have to write a not so good review… argh - I love the description of the creatures (the threatbelows) AND the ones in the cabin! -> addition to that: I love Eveshone - don’t like icelyn -> selfish, immature, childish, doesn’t care about anyone except herself and adorane (not even him at a later point?) - I like Torrain -> smart, is the only character that has a character development, invents a machine!! Makes it through cloudline alone just with his invention, FUCKING KILLED A GRIZZLY BEAR ALONE - hate that they left Torrain alone in the camp and icelyn didn’t even spend a single thought on how he might me doing - Icelyn was very selfish going into cloudline and forcing the entire expedition to go in even though they weren’t ready… poor aclornis and his team… - don’t even let me get startet talking about Tranton. He’s THE WORST - Nicholas is the worst leader I’ve ever read about - too many random events happening, strong start of the book though that really hooked me - I’m so confused when the pov changes mid chapter. Putting a paragraph would help a lot!!
