Der 4.Teil der Reihe hat mir zu Beginn recht gut gefallen, jedoch hat es mich ein wenig gestört, dass die beiden Charaktere nicht wirklich miteinander kommunizieren konnten. Bei der Hälfte des Buches gibt es dann einen Zeitsprung, welchen ich nicht kommen gesehen habe. Zuerst fand ich das nicht so gut, doch nach ein paar Kapiteln habe ich mich damit abgefunden und die Story hat mir immer besser gefallen. Das Ende war cute. Die Reihe ist einfach perfekt für Zwischendurch, ich bin auf jeden Fall ein Fan!

This felt like a speed run through the repetitive plot. I don't have high expectations, it's 50 shades of alien smut after all. But I like the characters Ruby Dixon writes. In this part we follow Harlow and the alien, that abducted her. It's like Trazan and Jane, just in blue and on an icy hell of a planet. Harlow and Rukh fell a bit short for me but the ending made up for this. The story is more about the problematic pregnancy and Rukhs enlightening moments, than about the chemistry between the love birds. I'm excited about the next one!

Joa, ich habe die erste Hälfte des Buches vor einiger Zeit gelesen und war von dem Trope des Wilden so genervt, dass ich es fast abgebrochen hätte. Nun habe ich im Urlaub weitergelesen als ich mal als Pause zu meinem anderen Buch etwas Seichtes lesen wollte. Das Zwischenmenschliche wurde dann besser als sie zum Tribe kamen, aber die Sexszenen sind schon zum Fremdschämen. Ich glaube, ich brauche erstmal eine Pause von dieser Reihe…

I am so glad, that we have Harlow in book four, after the surprising and rough end with her in book three. Surprisingly we learn that the reason she wanted to go to the elder cave, was because she had a brain tumor and was about to die in a few months. Luckily that seems to be taken care of. For the moment. The way she and Rukh meet sure is a special one. He literally clubs her over the head and drags her to her cave, like a weird Tarzan and Jane retelling. Thinking about it, it probably is, cause we learn that Rukh is the long lost, believed to be dead, brother of Rahosh, and has been alone for years and years, basically going back, not being able to understand or talk in any language. Seeing them interact and building a relationship, is often fascinating and heartbreaking in many ways. We also have a lot of time jumps in this one, but they were put in there in a great way. Overall really enjoyable and showing another facet of life.
