A very atmospheric retelling of the Arthurian tale, with lots of magic. In this story, the often forgotten Lady of Shalott becomes our narrator, taking us with her into her visions of the future and her efforts of trying to find a way where all her friends get their happily ever after without too much sacrifice. To be honest, at some parts it got a little confusing with the present timeline mixing with visions of the future and flashbacks of the past. And I wanted the book to have a better, stronger, more impactful ending. But overall, I really enjoyed this new take on the old tale.
